We offer free diagnostics on transmissions only with repair. There will be a charge of $500.00 to $1,200.00 for an internal transmission inspection. This is non-refundable. Once we have a handle on the situation, we pledge to never over promise or under deliver. Instead, our team uses their expertise and experience to provide an accurate and honest assessment and deliver on their promises. Our process has saved customers thousands of dollars on needless repairs over the years.
We do charge for engine diagnostics, as issues with various components can affect the transmission, including the powertrain control module, throttle position sensor, vehicle speed sensor, overdrive switch, differential speed sensor, brake on-off switch, transmission range sensor, transmission fluid temperature sensor, turbine shaft speed sensor, coolant temperature sensor, air conditioning sensor, intake air temperature sensor, mass airflow sensor, and manifold absolute pressure sensor.

Hopefully it will stay that way. A few bumps and catches on the way home, which worried me but he said there was a 100-150 mile "break-in period" for the transmission. Wish he would have said that when I left:) Front desk was very nice but a little out of it at times, I almost walked away with the keys to the car, they didn't ask for them when I dropped them off.

William OdegardFebruary 5, 2024My transmission went out but I was able to make it home I called Advanced Transmission and they probably came and towed it to their shop. They were busy and Jack said it may take a day or two to tear it down and evaluate. This was okay since I had another car. Jack called in a couple days and quoted $2,800 parts and labor which I thought was reasonable for a rebuild. I could have put in a new one for a little bit more money but then I had a new transmission in an old car. I did end up paying $3,300 as I opted to replace some parts that wasn't originally in the quote. I told them to take their time and in about 10 days 2 weeks he called and it was ready. Great service, quality work, and the car runs like a top
